This washhouse, which was used for a very long time, is down in the midst of the agricultural plain near the chapel dedicated to Saint Martin. A full two kilometers from the village, it was frequented by the washerwomen of Saint Victor at times when the river the passes at the foot of the village ran dry.
Its construction is much more rustic than the large public washhouses in the village, but there are beautiful sloping wash stones that show the wear of generations of work. Its spring is shaded by a very large hawthorn tree.

Along with the Saint Martin chapel, this washhouse with its row of mulberry and walnut trees, forms a very romantic and charming spot.

There is a picnic area set up on the grass just off the road in front of the chapel.
