Down in the plain, next to a natural spring and the washhouse built nearby, are the ruins of the Romanesque Saint Martin chapel. This structure must have been splendid in its proportions and sculptural artistry, but all that is left is the semicircular apse and the bell tower.
Classed as an Historic Monument, the chapel is of unknown origin, but its construction probably dates to approximately 1500.

Very few historical or architectural works tell us anything this chapel, only J.H. Larbaud and Léon Alègre mention it in their "Mémoires de l'Académie du Vaucluse" and Marcel Faraud in "Du Castellas à Mayran".
