The important festivity for the village of Saint Victor la Coste takes place in the middle of the summer. This is the traditional village festival, taking place on the town square, as in just about every town and village in France. Every generation of residents of the village have memories associated with this long weekend of village get-togethers. Dating back to the custom of Saint's days, it is still situated around the day of Saint Victor, the third Sunday in July, even though it has lost all religious signification. During three days, it is the opportunity to take part in a number of festivities, and to dance all night long on the village square.

On June 24, the longest day of the year, many villages light a "Saint John's fire." In Saint Victor la Coste, people gather on a village square, below the ancient ramparts, and dance around the fire that burns all night long.
