The majority of the plain that extends below the village's feet, covering several hundred hectares, is covered with flourishing vineyards. Worked in small fields over the generations, they now form a patchwork that the autumn fills with striking color. |
| Among the grapes, there are small sections of differing crops. Several orchards, mainly apricots, but also pears, cherries, apples, are planted on the land closest to natural springs. Olive trees, once very numerous, were largely eradicated in the harsh winter of 1956. Several small groups are left, brightening the landscape with their silvery leaves (right). |

To visit the agricultural plain, you may follow a number of beautiful winding roads and paths. They turn around the contours of the hills, or slip between the fields of grape vines. |
