The village of Saint Victor la Coste is on the edge of two landscapes, both very typical of southern France and the Mediterranean. To the north, spreads out a fertile plain, territory of the famous Cotes du Rhone wines.
To the south, lie an expanse of dry limestone hills covered with the scrub vegetation so typical of the Mediterranean climate. The contrast between the views is most striking when viewed from the village's hilltop castle, where you can go from one landscape to the other by merely crossing the castle courtyard.

These two landscapes are a great wealth for the town, both economically and environmentally.
